Wall Lamp

Wall Lamp

Wall lamps free up surface space — no bedside table consumed by a reading light, no floor real estate taken by a standing lamp. In Malaysian apartments where every metre counts, a pair of bedside wall sconces is often the cleaner lighting plan for the main bedroom.

FRWD's wall lamp range covers three use cases: bedside wall lamps with adjustable arms for reading and ambient light; hallway sconces sized for the narrow corridors common in Malaysian condos; and accent wall lights that frame a feature wall or mirror. Finishes lean toward matte black, brushed brass and warm white to match modern Malaysian interior palettes.

Most FRWD wall lamps ship with E27 fittings — confirm your existing wiring position before install, or let the FRWD delivery team handle fitting (free in Peninsular Malaysia). See the full lighting range for floor, table and pendant options, or the wall decoration hub for complementary mirrors and paintings.

Frequently Asked Questions

1.

Where should a bedside wall lamp be mounted?

Centre the lamp roughly 1,500–1,600mm from the floor, measured to the bottom of the shade. It should sit above the headboard height so the light clears your shoulders when you're sitting up reading. Standard sides for a double bed: mount each lamp 400–500mm in from the outer edge of the mattress.
2.

Do wall lamps need new wiring?

Many FRWD wall lamps are plug-and-cord designs that use an existing power socket and a visible fabric or braided cable — no rewiring needed. Hardwired sconces do require a wall outlet at the mount point. Check the product page or ask delivery support before install, especially for rental apartments where wall work may not be allowed.
