The models that list their open length (Sally, Patricia) run 185–196 cm long, so with a 60 cm walkway you need roughly 2.5 m from the wall. For two sleepers, look for a sleeping width of about 150 cm (queen width); for one, about 100 cm is comfortable.
The Two Numbers That Matter
Closed width: does it fit the wall as a sofa? Measure the wall and leave space for a side table or walkway.
Open length: does it fit the room as a bed? This is the one that catches people out, because the bed usually extends forward into the space where your coffee table lives.
Then check a third: sleeping width. A sofa's outer width includes the arms, so the sleeping area is narrower. The Patricia S is 140 cm wide outside but sleeps on 100 cm inside.

How Much Room Do You Need?
Depth: open length (185–196 cm) + about 60 cm to walk past = roughly 2.5 m from the wall to the nearest obstacle. Move the coffee table, or choose a light one you can shift each night.
Width: closed width + space on at least one side to get in and out.
The doorway test: anything above about 200 cm closed (the Jeremy, the XL sizes) needs the same lift-and-corridor check as a large sofa. Our measuring guide covers it.

Which Size for Who?
One adult or a child: a sleeping width around 100 cm, like the Patricia S. That's wider than a standard single mattress (90 cm).
Two adults: a sleeping width around 150 cm, the same as a Malaysian queen mattress. The Sally M opens to exactly that.
