Bar stools are the finishing touch for a kitchen island or breakfast counter — they make a functional space feel designed. FRWD's bar stool collection includes upholstered seat designs with metal or wooden frames, in heights suited to standard counter and island tops.

FRWD bar stools are designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars and high-top tables. Available heights include counter height (65 cm) and bar height (75 cm) to match standard Malaysian kitchen island and bar dimensions. Materials range from solid wood and powder-coated metal frames to upholstered seats in fabric, leather-look microfibre and bouclé. Swivel and fixed-base options are both available.

Prices start from RM 399 per stool. FRWD delivers free across KL, PJ, Subang Jaya, Cheras and Ampang on orders above RM 2,000. Bar stools are sold individually for flexible quantity. 1-year warranty on all bar stools.

Should I choose bar stools with or without a backrest?

For counters used mainly for quick meals or casual drinks, backless stools look cleaner and tuck fully under the counter. If you plan to use the counter for longer periods (e.g. working from the kitchen), a stool with a backrest provides better support.

Counter-height stools (65 cm seat) suit surfaces 90-95 cm high, such as kitchen islands. Bar-height stools (75 cm seat) suit surfaces 100-110 cm high. Measure your counter or bar height and subtract 25-30 cm for the ideal seat height.
