Vacuum the fabric (hugyp hg1313) headboard weekly using a soft brush attachment, and blot spills gently with a clean, damp cloth rather than rubbing. For boucle, wool and textured weaves, dab along the direction of the loops to protect the texture.

Every few months, check and re-tighten the bolts and joints on the solid wood frame. Make sure the slats or divan base sit evenly and the mattress is centred so weight is supported across the whole frame.
